With the rapid sellout of the coaster sets it’s time for a quick update post on how backorders are going to be handled here at Loot Tables. If you’re here to purchase the Crit/Shit coaster set, you might have noticed that the page says the item is currently out of stock, like so:
Firstly, I just wanted to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. It’s been so awesome to be creating something that people really want to have, and I’ve been busy both making more coasters as well as refining my process here and looking forward to launch more products ASAP.
Secondly, you might see that the page currently indicates a 3-5 day delay for fulfillment of your order. Currently all items are fulfilled the same day, and normally shipped the next business day. When an item goes on backorder, I still need to create the items before being able to fulfill things, so a delay begins being introduced. However, I don’t want to prevent someone from reserving their spot in line, or force someone to have to check the site over and over and potentially miss out when the product comes back in stock, so backorders are possible.
The limits of backorders…
Backorders are fulfilled in the order they are received, and will continue to be accepted until it would cause a delay of more than 10 days on a new order. At that point, I’ll put backorders on hold as well in order to make sure everyone is satisfied with their purchase and we can get your items to you in a timely matter. How many orders cause the threshold to be crossed varies on each item, so keep an eye on the notice on each product page.
That’s it, really! Backorders are just a way to reserve your spot in line, and your items will get to you as soon as they can be finished and up to our standards. I hope this clears things up! Plus you can always follow us on twitter or instagram for updates (and sneak peeks!!)
Have a good weekend everyone, and remember… it’s Thursday.
